Air con / Ventillation

Air conditioning and ventilation

Suitable ventilation and air conditioning requirements will vary between spaces, so its important to consider your needs to suit the environment.

Air conditioning and ventilation

What's the difference between air conditioning and ventilation systems?

A ventilation system will help to purify the air inside a space, but won’t actually cool the room down.

  • An air ventilation system works by mixing the air inside a space with the air outside of the building, then releasing it back into the room. The end result of this process is that the quality of air in the room becomes much better. Main types of ventilation in an inside space include:
  • natural ventilation - fresh air comes in through open windows, doors or air vents. This is also known as ‘passive air flow’
  • mechanical ventilation - fans and ducts bring in fresh air from outside

Whilst an air conditioning system does not use any external source to cool or heat a room. An air con system will take the air from inside a space, heat it or cool it, depending on the setting, then recycle the same air back into the room.

We can recommend, supply and install a range of systems to suit your needs to create the perfect environment in your required spaces.
